Rutik's Portfolio
What came first? The chicken or the egg? Neither. The product manager did. Why, you ask? They had to create PRDs before one could deploy the egg/B testing.
Like all entrepreneurs, I love solving problems using technology, and being able to couple that passion with my product management skills has been incredible! I have been lucky to have found out product management at the young age of 19, and since then there's been no looking back.
I have worked as a product manager with a firm called Shoonya, an EV startup called EVC Finder, for The Paradigm's website, and smartphone app in 2020-2021. During the time, I have worked with a team of 4 web developers, 2 app developers, and 2 UI/UX designers to ideate, define the vision, convey expectations, create prototypes, do A/B testing and ship the product during the entire product development cycle. I am also working as a product management lead for an upcoming consumer social platform, that we are building in stealth mode.
Shoonya (April 2020 - October 2020)
Being extremely curious about the art that product management is, I started off with an internship at Shoonya where I worked on a few products from April 2020 to October 2020.
Eklavya

Eklavya is an e-learning portal that we designed for colleges right at the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic. It is an internal portal for the college to conduct lectures, share notes, and conduct tests. Teachers, and HODs can schedule meetings, departmental, and assign tasks to specific colleagues.
I worked on creating the user journey, PRDs, and communicating between design & development teams to convey expectations for the entire platform.
Fully Custom Restaurant Outlet Management Software
That is quite a mouthful. But the idea is pretty straightforward. The software completely automates the management of inventory, menu and sales for restaurant outlets. Due to automation, the outlet owner can now focus on scaling, and opening up more outlets. One of the most important features of the software is commission and royalty management (CnRM). We found that owners would assign managers to their multiple outlets, situated in numerous locations. CnRM helps owners manage commission per cycle, brand royalty for each outlet, and change commission percentage according to outlet location.
I worked on developing the idea further, and interacting with existing and potential customers to understand their pain points, and refine the product features.
Co-working space dashboard
I also worked on refining the online business dashboard used by one of Shoonya's clients to maintain their metrics, and other data. My major contribution to this project was working with the design team to make the UI more intuitive, and user-friendly for technical and non-technical users alike.
EVCFinder (April 2020 - July 2020)
EVCFinder provides End-to-End Software Solution to access and manage EV Charging Stations. Along with the B2B Saas platform, EVCFinder Mobile App is for EV owners to search nearby charging points, navigate, charge their vehicles, and pay digitally.
I worked on creating user journey, and UI design for the smartphone app, and talking to customers about the SaaS platform to understand their pain points. Below is a screenshot from the very early wireframes for the map view on the app.

The final app that we shipped can be found here
The Paradigm's Web Development (Aug 2020 - Nov 2020)
The Paradigm publishes 3-minute socio-political explainers on its website and also sends them out as a newsletter. For the website we wanted to display all these explainers in a simple, yet elegant way.
I worked extensively with the UI/UX team to come up with a design that would help the readers have an experience that was easy on the eyes, pleasant to look at, and not cluttered with ad spaces.
Below are a few screenshots from the early wireframe we designed in September of 2020.

The final website that we shipped in November of 2020 can be found here
The Paradigm's Smartphone App
The Paradigm's smartphone app helps our readers access all of their favourite explainers right on their smartphone.
Our aim with The Paradigm app is to keep it accessible to people from all backgrounds. Hence, the first build of the app is obviously free, barely 10 MB, is supported on some of the oldest Android versions, and has a special accessibility support that we are incredibly proud of. Visually challenged people can listen to our explainers in the form of a podcast right on the app.
The Paradigm app is currently evolving and is due for a lot of exciting features that we are currently working on.
Below are screenshots from our UI design for The Paradigm app.
You can find the initial build for the app here.

Stealth Project
I am currently working as the product management lead for an upcoming consumer social application. It is the biggest project I have undertaken so far, and that is what makes it so exciting to be working on.
